BOSTON EAGLES WOMEN'S LACROSSE
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Boston College's women's lacrosse program competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference from its Chestnut Hill campus, established in 1863 and currently enrolling 15,234 students. The Eagles represent one of the oldest Catholic universities in America, bringing institutional stability and resources to a program that operates at the highest level of NCAA Division I competition during the spring season. ACC membership places Boston College among the nation's most competitive women's lacrosse conferences, featuring programs that consistently challenge for national tournament seeding and postseason advancement.
Operating from its home venue in the Boston area, the Eagles draw from a region with significant lacrosse tradition and talent pipelines. The program benefits from the university's substantial athletic infrastructure and the competitive demands of conference play against established powers like Notre Dame, Virginia, and Syracuse. Boston College recruits nationally while maintaining connections to New England's lacrosse hotbed, where the sport has experienced tremendous growth at both the club and scholastic levels over the past two decades. The Eagles' spring schedule provides opportunities for student-athletes to develop skills and compete for conference and NCAA tournament recognition throughout March and April competition.
