ABOUT EASTERN ILLINOIS

Located in Charleston, Illinois, a town of roughly 20,000 residents about 140 miles south of Chicago, Eastern Illinois University has supported varsity athletics since its founding in 1895, when the institution enrolled just a fraction of its current 8,107 students.
