ABOUT MARSHALL
Huntington, West Virginia's flagship institution has operated as a Division I-FBS program since 1997, when Marshall University made the jump to the highest level of college football. The university, established in 1837, now fields 17 varsity sports across a 12,318-student enrollment, competing in the Sun Belt Conference with programs spanning football, basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis, and Olympic sports.
