PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Oklahoma State's swimming and diving program competes in the Big 12 Conference as part of a university established in 1890 with a current enrollment of 27,241 students. The Cowboys operate their aquatic facilities on campus while maintaining the competitive standards expected of Division I programs in one of college sports' most rigorous conferences. Big 12 swimming showcases depth across freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and individual medley events, with divers competing on both 1-meter and 3-meter boards.

Competing at the winter sports level, Oklahoma State's roster includes scholarship athletes who train year-round to meet conference and NCAA qualifying standards. The program participates in dual meets throughout the season while building toward the Big 12 Championship meet, where teams from across the region converge to compete. Training focuses on reducing times across standard NCAA distances—50-yard freestyle through 1,650-yard freestyle—while developing technical proficiency in diving disciplines.
