RICE RICE WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Rice University's women's swimming and diving program competes at the NCAA Division I level as part of the American Athletic Conference during the winter season. Founded alongside the university in 1912, the program operates from Rice's dedicated aquatic facilities and draws from the university's 8,880-student enrollment base in Houston, Texas. The Owls compete in one of the most competitive conference settings in collegiate swimming, facing off against American Athletic Conference opponents throughout the season.

The program maintains a full roster of swimmers and divers across multiple events and disciplines, with athletes specializing in freestyle, individual medley, breaststroke, backstroke, and diving from the 1- and 3-meter boards.
