TEXAS CHRISTIAN HORNED FROGS SOFTBALL

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Located in Fort Worth and founded in 1873, Texas Christian University fields its softball program within the Big 12 Conference as a Division I-FBS institution representing 12,980 students. TCU's softball squad competes during the spring season at their home venue, where the program develops student-athletes through NCAA Division I competition. The Horned Frogs program operates under staff leadership dedicated to balancing academics and athletics at an institution nearly 150 years old.

Competing in one of college softball's most demanding conferences, TCU's athletes train and play alongside some of the nation's top programs. Big 12 Conference membership places the Horned Frogs in consistent matchups with programs that regularly compete for national postseason berths. The spring season format provides TCU softball with a full slate of conference games and nonconference competition, allowing the program to develop its roster and pursue Big 12 tournament advancement throughout the year.
