CALIFORNIA ANTEATERS SOFTBALL

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

UC Irvine's softball program competes as part of the Big West Conference at one of California's youngest major universities, founded just in 1965 with a current enrollment of 37,297 students. The Anteaters play their home games in Irvine, representing a campus that has built competitive athletic programs across multiple sports despite being established less than 60 years ago. The program participates in the spring season format typical of NCAA Division I softball, competing against Big West Conference rivals throughout the academic year.
