CENTRAL ARKANSAS BEARS WOMEN'S LACROSSE

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Central Arkansas began competing in NCAA Division I women's lacrosse in 2023, joining the ASUN Conference as the program established itself among FCS athletics at the Conway, Arkansas campus. The Bears represent a university founded in 1907 with an enrollment of 9,962 students, positioning the program within a growing athletic department that expanded to Division I competition. As a nascent program, Central Arkansas competes during the spring season alongside fellow ASUN members, building its roster and competitive infrastructure from the ground up.

The women's lacrosse program reflects the university's commitment to expanding athletic opportunities in a conference that spans multiple states. With inaugural participation in 2023, the Bears have begun establishing their identity within ASUN competition, where they face conference opponents across the Southeast and beyond. Central Arkansas plays its home matches on campus in Conway, providing student-athletes with the opportunity to represent a university that serves nearly 10,000 students across its academic and athletic programs.
