NEVADA REBELS MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

UNLV's men's swimming and diving program represents one of the Mountain West Conference's competitive aquatic squads operating from the Las Vegas metropolitan area. Founded alongside the university in 1957, the Rebels compete during the winter season and draw from a student body of 31,142 at the Paradise, Nevada campus. The program participates in NCAA Division I-FBS athletics while maintaining conference membership in a league known for developing solid mid-major swimming talent across the Southwest region.

The Rebels' roster competes across freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and individual medley events, alongside the diving disciplines that have historically been strength areas for the program. UNLV swimmers train year-round to compete in dual meets, conference championships, and postseason qualifying standards throughout the winter campaign. The program balances individual athlete development with relay team formation, preparing competitors for both conference-level competition and potential NCAA Regional consideration depending on seasonal performance metrics.
