SOUTHERN INDIANA SCREAMING EAGLES WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Located in Evansville, Indiana, the University of Southern Indiana fields a competitive women's swimming and diving program within the Ohio Valley Conference at the NCAA Division I level. Established as an institution in 1965, USI has grown to serve 9,286 students and competes during the winter season across multiple aquatic disciplines. The Screaming Eagles program combines freestyle, individual medley, backstroke, breaststroke, and diving events that span both sprint and distance competitions throughout the conference schedule.

USI's women's swimmers and divers train year-round to develop proficiency across the full spectrum of aquatic events, with roster depth required to field competitive relays and maintain scoring depth across conference meets. The Ohio Valley Conference schedule provides regular competition against regional opponents, with athletes working toward NCAA qualifying standards in their respective events. Training and competition take place at the home venue facility, where the program develops athletes capable of competing at the Division I level while maintaining academic standards alongside their athletic commitments.
