WESTERN ILLINOIS LEATHERNECKS SOFTBALL

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Western Illinois University, established in 1899 in Macomb with an enrollment of 5,337 students, fields its softball program in the Ohio Valley Conference at the Division I FCS level. The Leathernecks compete during the spring season with a roster structure typical of mid-major collegiate programs. Playing out of their home venue, Western Illinois maintains a presence in one of the Midwest's most competitive mid-major conferences.
