ABOUT CAMPBELL

Campbell's athletic department operates 16 varsity sports for a student body of roughly 5,000 at its Buies Creek, North Carolina campus, founded in 1887. The Fighting Camels compete in the Coastal Athletic Association within NCAA Division I-FCS, fielding programs across football, basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, cross country, lacrosse, swimming and diving, softball, and baseball. Located in rural Johnston County, Campbell balances a classical liberal arts foundation with its commitment to collegiate athletics at the FCS level.

Football represents one of Campbell's flagship programs within the CAA, competing annually against regional rivals including Charleston Southern, VMI, and Kennesaw State.
