CALIFORNIA TRITONS WOMEN'S SOCCER

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

UC San Diego's women's soccer program competes within the Big West Conference as part of a university established in 1960 and serving 46,178 students in La Jolla. The Tritons field a roster competing during the fall season across a conference that includes eight teams competing for conference honors. Located on the Southern California coast, the program draws from a metropolitan region with significant soccer infrastructure and competitive youth development pipelines.

The Big West Conference platform provides the Tritons with regular conference matchups against programs including Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Northridge, UC Riverside, and other regional competitors. UC San Diego's location within the state's largest enrollment system positions the program within a network of Division I soccer opportunities.
