ABOUT DETROIT MERCY
Located in Detroit since 1877, the University of Detroit Mercy fields 13 varsity sports across the Horizon League for its student body of 5,587. The athletic program balances competition across football-free offerings with seven women's sports and six men's sports, including basketball programs that serve as the institution's highest-profile teams. Detroit Mercy competes in indoor and outdoor track events through its cross country and distance running initiatives, while also maintaining traditional varsity competition in baseball, soccer, tennis, golf, swimming and diving, and volleyball.
The Titans represent one of Michigan's few Catholic universities competing at the Division I level, maintaining athletic operations across multiple team sports in the Midwest-centered Horizon League.
