OKLAHOMA SOONERS FOOTBALL

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Located in Norman, Oklahoma, the Sooners represent the University of Oklahoma, founded in 1890, and compete in the Southeastern Conference at the Football Bowl Subdivision level. Head coach Brent Venables commands a roster of 100 players competing in the fall season, bringing his defensive expertise to rebuild a program with historically elite standards. Oklahoma's move to the SEC represents a significant shift in the program's competitive landscape after decades in the Big 12.

Venables inherited a storied program with 47 bowl appearances and 3 national championships in its history.
