DUKE BLUE DEVILS MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Duke's swimming and diving program competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference as part of a university founded in 1838 with a current enrollment of 16,780 students. Based in Durham, North Carolina, the Blue Devils represent one of the ACC's winter sports priorities, competing across multiple swimming and diving disciplines throughout the season. The program draws from Duke's substantial student body to build competitive rosters across freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, individual medley, and diving events.

ACC competition places Duke among collegiate swimming programs in one of the nation's most rigorous athletic conferences, featuring matchups against powerhouse programs throughout the winter season. The Blue Devils' home facility serves as the base for training and hosting conference and non-conference meets. Like other Duke athletic programs, the swimming and diving team balances the demands of NCAA Division I competition with the university's rigorous academic environment, where student-athletes maintain the standards expected of a top-tier research institution.
