PURDUE UNIVERSITY FORT WAYNE MASTODONS SOFTBALL

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Purdue University Fort Wayne entered Division I athletics in 2018 with its inaugural cohort of 8,298 students, establishing a nascent athletic program competing in the Horizon League during spring softball season. The Mastodons represent one of the newer institutional additions to NCAA Division I, building their competitive foundation from startup status across the Horizon League conference structure. As a program still in its early development phase since 2018, Purdue Fort Wayne continues establishing baseline performance metrics and roster development patterns that characterize emerging Division I programs.
