MARYLAND RETRIEVERS MEN'S TENNIS

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Located in Catonsville just outside Baltimore, the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Retrievers represent one of the youngest universities in the state system, having been established in 1966. UMBC's tennis program competes within the America East Conference, competing during the spring season against regional rivals from across the Northeast. With an enrollment base of 13,530 students, the program draws from a substantial athletic population on campus, allowing the coaching staff to build competitive rosters year to year.

The Retrievers' home matches provide UMBC athletics with opportunities to develop depth at the collegiate level while advancing the program's competitive standing in conference play. The America East Conference includes strong tennis programs that test UMBC's squad throughout the season, requiring consistent performance from both singles and doubles lineups.
