PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Elon University, established in 1889 in North Carolina with an enrollment of 7,117 students, competes in the Coastal Athletic Association as a Division I-FCS program. Coach Charlotte Smith directs the Phoenix women's basketball team from the Schar Center, where the program has demonstrated significant home-court advantage with a 7-4 record compared to just 4-9 on the road this season. The Phoenix maintain a conference record of 4-3, positioning themselves competitively within the CAA during winter play.

The 14-player roster averaged 65.6 points per game while holding opponents to 63.1 points through an 11-13 overall record. Elon's home dominance reflects a three-point difference in scoring margins, as the team has proven substantially more effective within the Schar Center's walls. With a 4-9 away record against a solid 7-4 home mark, the Phoenix roster continues working to develop consistency across both venues while maintaining their conference competitiveness under Smith's direction.
