SAINT PETER'S PEACOCKS WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Located in Jersey City, New Jersey, Saint Peter's University established its athletic programs at a Catholic institution founded in 1872 with a current enrollment of 3,572 students. The Peacocks compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference at the Division I level, representing one of the smallest universities in the MAAC by student population. Saint Peter's women's swimming and diving program operates during the winter season, competing against conference opponents from across the Northeast region.

Saint Peter's swimming and diving athletes train year-round to compete in a demanding collegiate schedule within the MAAC, one of the most competitive mid-major conferences in the Northeast. The program develops student-athletes across multiple events including freestyle distances, individual medley, breaststroke, backstroke, diving, and relay competitions. With its location in the densely populated Jersey City area, the program draws from a competitive recruiting region that includes New Jersey, New York, and surrounding states with strong high school swimming traditions.
