MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE HAWKS MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Maryland Eastern Shore's men's cross country program competes within the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference as part of the university's Division I athletics portfolio. Founded in 1886 in Princess Anne, Maryland, the institution has built its athletic traditions across more than a century of competition. The Hawks operate their home venue in the rural Eastern Shore region of Maryland's Upper Eastern Shore Peninsula, where they develop distance runners for collegiate competition during the fall cross country season.

Cross country at UMES represents a key component of the university's track and field athletic structure, with student-athletes training through the challenging autumn months to compete against conference opponents.
